He promises a unique experience with <strong>authentic<\/strong> food and stories about <strong>Greek cuisine<\/strong>, culture, and the places that have shaped <strong>\u0398\u03b5\u03c3\u03c3\u03b1\u03bb\u03bf\u03bd\u03af\u03ba\u03b7<\/strong> over the years.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Of course, we couldn\u2019t start the day without <strong>coffee<\/strong>, and nothing beats a refreshing <strong>frappe<\/strong>. Panagiotis informs us that the frappe, apart from being a national Greek <strong>treasure<\/strong>, is actually a Thessaloniki invention, created unintentionally in 1957. Along with the frappe come two more local delicacies: the famous <strong>koulouri Thessalonikis<\/strong> and the queen of pastries, <strong>bougatsa<\/strong>. We tried different varieties of <strong>olives<\/strong>, <strong>smelled fresh herbs<\/strong>, and tasted <strong>local delicacies<\/strong> in shops around the city center.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The smell of <strong>herbs<\/strong> and the magnificent <strong>olives<\/strong> reignited our appetite, and Panagiotis took us to his secret spot to try the famous Greek <strong>meze<\/strong> along with some <strong>local spirits<\/strong>. While explaining the meze culture, small plates started arriving at our table with a mix of <strong>seafood<\/strong>, <strong>dairy<\/strong>, and <strong>meat<\/strong> dishes. The plates were placed in the middle so we could all share and try everything.
