Looking for the perfect family activity in Thessaloniki this June? One of the city’s most beloved family events is back. Hoppy Festival returns for its fourth edition, bringing a full day of fun, creativity, sports, and memorable experiences for children and parents alike.
On 14 June 2026, the iconic Thessaloniki City Hall will transform into a vibrant playground filled with interactive activities, workshops, games, and entertainment. Designed to create unforgettable moments for the whole family, the festival invites visitors to explore a world where play, learning, and creativity come together.
One of the reasons families love Hoppy Festival is the variety of experiences available in a single day. Children can take part in cooking workshops, arts and crafts activities, robotics sessions, survival games, and interactive challenges, while BMX demonstrations and live performances add even more excitement to the atmosphere.
Of course, no festival is complete without good food. The dedicated Food Corner will offer plenty of tasty options, while theatre performances and family-friendly entertainment ensure there is always something happening around every corner. Best of all, every ticket includes access to all activities, allowing families to enjoy the festival to the fullest.
The celebrations begin even earlier with the Hoppy Tournament, taking place on 13 June at the YMCA Thessaloniki facilities. Throughout the day, young football players will compete in one of the festival’s most anticipated events, bringing together teams, families, and sports enthusiasts in a festive atmosphere.
Together, the tournament and the festival create a weekend dedicated to play, sports, creativity, and quality family time in Thessaloniki.
